We bring Ephesus to life through a dramatic story that takes place in a theatrical environment. Visitors will take part in a tour of the city. Wandering through meticulously designed spaces and encompassed by a three-dimensional environment.
We also believe that visitors will better understand the period, when seen from the perspective of the people that lived then. We want to add a personal touch by augmenting the experience with a human drama starring figures borrowed from mythology and history.
Visitors will be invited to take a walk down the reconstructed main street of ancient Ephesus and meet the people that lived there. They will enter their alleyways, and share in their day-to-day lives. As the heroes of the story describe their lives, the visitors will learn about the main events that took place along those very streets. In effect, we propose is a sophisticated from theater, using actors on film.
Each scene will take place in a recreation of the place, where the original event occurred. We will join a group of merchants as they accompany a special guest on a visit to their city. The drama will emerge as we gradually discover who this tourist is and what he is looking for in the city of Artemis. In each hall (scene) he will meet with other characters, who are in some way related to the story of the city and who will enlighten the visitors about different aspects of the past.
